There was a time (wow, twenty years ago) when D&D (and the many other games it inspired, like the Robotech RPG) was a big part of my life. Sure, that makes me a nerd, but I have a lot of happy memories and some lifelong friendships as a result. For all of that, I have to thank Gary Gygax, who hit the Immortals level today.
