My friend Nate recently asked me what I thought of the CNN.com redesign, and I realized I hadn’t even hit the url deliberately in years — then it occurred to me that I mostly regularly check the same sites now I did five years ago. NYTimes, kottke.org, Boing Boing, and to a lesser bit Salon and Wired remain my tried and true filters… besides friends’ blogs, Wikipedia and Flickr, I haven’t really added any sites to my regular diet that weren’t on the menu then.
I wonder what I’m missing.
