The Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency has released the first ever HD footage of the Moon, taken from lunar orbit from the unmanned spacecraft Kaguya (or “Selene,” an acronym for “SELenological and ENgineering Explorer”) at an altitude of about 100 km on October 18, 2007.
Here are some 3D models of Kaguya if someone wanted to, say, put one in an upcoming Galacticast...

This is the kind of great stuff I get to overhear sitting among the car nuts who make Fast Lane Daily. “Bench racing” is when people argue about which of their cars is supposedly faster and would win a race based on their specs or customizations they’ve made.
